Ruth Wilson

Ruth Wilson has won two Olivier Awards, as well as a Golden Globe Award. She has made her Broadway debut in Nick Payne's Constellations opposite Jake Gyllenhaal. Ruth Wilson is known for playing Alison Lockhart on the Showtime drama "The Affair" which won her an Golden Globe Award. At the Donmar Warehouse, she received Olivier Awards as Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, and Best Supporting Actress, respectively in the film Anna Christie with Jude Law. In the film Hedda gabler She was also nominated for an Best Actress Olivier Award nominee. Wilson was a part of BBC's "Luther," nominated for eight Emmy Awards. The BBC mini-series "Jane Eyre," she received nominations from both Golden Globes and BAFTAs for the Best Leading actress. In 2007 the actress made her London debut with Maxim Gorky's Philistines with the National Theatre.
