Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
When she was initially inspired by the shadows she saw on the grass of the trees and the shadows she saw on the trees, she set out to develop a technique which didn't depict an object as a two-dimensional image. Rather the subject is transformed into a re-creation of itself and the canvas becomes the carrier of it's own painterly interpretation, especially when the subjects are alive or perishable, such as people or fruit. The style that Alexa paints is ephemeral and only the photographs of her work survive. The painting and the photographic techniques are so closely coordinated and result in nothing but a two-dimensional flat space which is able to achieve trompe l'oeil, wherein the third dimension is discernible only within certain places like near the eyes or hair. Meade sometimes incorporates her painted figures in the 3D world around the figures. They are able to interact with this self-created universe. The result is a blurring of the lines between photography, painting, and installation.
