Ariel Winter is an American singer, actress and voice actor. Her birth name is Ariel Winter Workman in Los Angeles California on January 28th 1998. The career of Ariel's actor began when she was six years old, when she starred in an advertisement in the commercial for Cool Whip. In the age of seven she was offered her first TV role in an episode on CBS's sitcom Listen Up! She followed up these with roles in shows like Monk Bones and ER. The year 2007 saw her debut in the character of Gretchen for her role on the Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. In 2007 she was cast as her first live-action character as Alex Dunphy, on the well-known TV show Modern Family. With the other Modern Family co-stars, she was awarded four Screen Actors Guild awards for the best performance of an ensemble in the comedy show. Ariel still does voice acting in character voices, such as ParaNorman Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel is a Taekwondo purple belt.
