Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Her mother and father were both English. She attended The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. She pursued acting studies in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the school and performing in numerous stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then she has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Her success led her to play Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe starred in the comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Her stage credits are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport for the ABC drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for 2 weeks at The CW and then it was cancelled. In February 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that she would quit the show following her appearance on the first episode from the 3rd season. In the television series Salem, she played Tituba between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. Together, they worked in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with Madekwe in Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her family included her parents Roy and Patty as well as four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball in summer and hockey in the winter. Ashley did not walk, but she danced, so at the age of just two years old, she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley was captivated by dance at this age. Ashley competed in top-level divisions of tap, jazz ballet, hip hop, lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated high school. The big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the honor of "top soloist".
