Dua Lipa Dua Lipa, an English performer and songwriter, was born in London, on the 22nd of August 1995. She signed her first contract with Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model. She then dropped her debut album, self-titled in the year 2017. The album reached the number three spot at the top of the U.K. albums chart and was awash with eight singles. This included her U.K. top-ten single New Rules as well as Be the One. I.D.G.A.F. Lipa was awarded the Brit Awards in 2018 for British Female Solo Artist as well as British Breakthrough Act.
